Your Next Opportunity – Casual Immunisation Nurse
We're on the lookout for a qualified and motivated Division 1 Nurse with Victorian immuniser accreditation to join our immunisation team on a casual basis. If you're passionate about community health and thrive in dynamic environments, this is your chance to play a key role in delivering vital public health services.
You'll be providing high-quality immunisation services to a broad range of clients – from infants to seniors – and ensuring every interaction is calm, professional, and person-centred.
What You'll Be Doing
In this impactful role, you will:
* Administer Vaccines Safely: Prepare, draw up, and deliver vaccines with precision in schools and public sessions.
* Support Smooth Operations: Help coordinate rosters and ensure staff coverage for all sessions.
* Maintain Clinical Readiness: Manage medical supplies, sterile trays, and equipment to ensure a seamless client experience.
* Respond with Confidence: Be prepared to identify and manage any adverse reactions, including anaphylaxis, quickly and effectively.
* Collaborate Professionally: Work closely with the Medical Officer of Health and the Coordinator of Environmental Health to uphold best practices and clinical standards.
What We're Looking For
* Current Division 1 Nurse registration
* Victorian nurse immuniser accreditation
* Proven experience in immunisation across diverse age groups
* Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and community-focused
