The Role:
The Retail Performance Lead is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the retail and food operational standards across the Network. You will manage sales, improve presentation standards, execute operations efficiently, and ensure financial success.
Additionally, this role plays a pivotal role in advancing the profitability and future expansion of the branded retail business.
Reporting to The Sales and Operations Manager, responsibilities will include:
* Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained, and compliance with health and safety regulations is upheld.
* Coach, support, and train Commission Agents and Company employees on process procedures and standards associated with operational excellence.
* Ensure correct operational procedures are followed and take corrective action if necessary.
* Monitor and review each site's use of the 'Deputy' wage compliance tool.
* Meet audit and quality control targets, including Retail Financial Audit and Pie Face audits.
* Support local and national marketing initiatives.
* Ensure high standards of customer engagement are maintained.
* Recruit and ensure retention of Commission Agents.
* Prioritize health, safety, security, and environmental performance (HSSE) and ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory OHS requirements, and relevant legislation.
Selection criteria for the ideal candidate:
* A proven track record as a Multi-Site Retail Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
* Ability to oversee and lead multiple retail locations.
* An entrepreneurial mindset with high energy and a hands-on approach.
* Prior experience in Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR), Fuel, or Retail Operations is highly beneficial.
* Exhibit a high degree of emotional intelligence, strength of character, and resilience. Ability to build strong and productive relationships both internally and externally, fostering collaboration and cooperation.
* Skilled in creating and successfully delivering operational frameworks, training programs, and development strategies tailored to support a multi-unit business environment, with a focus on efficiency and excellence.
