Semantics Architect Position
Ambitious individual to craft and govern a unified semantic layer across domains, ensuring interoperable, trustworthy, and AI-ready data products.
Responsibilities
* Design, maintain, and evolve the semantic architecture for an organization.
* Collaborate with domain experts to establish naming conventions, ontologies, and data modeling rules and taxonomies.
* Build and maintain a canonical model for dynamic customer journey reconstruction across products and channels.
* Define the domain event ontology and event schemas for consistent semantics.
* Develop a metadata architecture and framework for seamless integration with Databricks.
* Define and manage the semantic runtime for performant, executable, testable, queryable definitions.
* Design the semantic graph for reasoning, AI retrieval, event linking, and customer journey reconstruction.
* Embed semantics capture through data product development in a frictionless manner.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing semantic models, knowledge representation, and integrating them with machine learning algorithms. A passion for delivering scalable solutions and working collaboratively is required.
