Our Risk and Controls Assurance (RCA) team is expanding and we're looking for a Senior Associate to join our community of solvers. You'll help Australian businesses create value and improve the way they work. From automation and digitisation to providing confidence over emerging technology, together we solve important problems. RCA assesses the effectiveness of technology and business process controls implemented by clients to reduce risk. The RCA team works across both External Audit and Non-Audit clients, exposing you to controls related to Financial reporting as well as controls to improve security, business continuity and technology risk in a broad range of industries.
You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills in the following areas:
* Financial services, technology risk and controls environments, IT general controls, and application controls
* Internal audit, advisory, and/or third party assurance engagements
* Strong appreciation of the complexities and challenges around the use of existing and emerging technology, and how to solve them from strategy to execution
Responsibilities
* Contribute to a full range of assurance projects including planning, testing, reviewing and reporting on large and complex client engagements
* Analyse and document internal controls and control environments
* Equip clients to make decisions based on accurate information by establishing the right controls, processes and structures
* Optimise technology control activities, technology and operational strategy, and policies and procedures
* Lead and contribute to large and small-scale projects throughout the year
Qualifications
* Experience in financial services, technology risk and controls environments, IT general controls, and application controls
* Experience across internal audit, advisory, and/or third-party assurance engagements
* Strong understanding of how organisations use existing and emerging technology and how to solve related challenges from strategy to execution
