Overview
SouthTas Concrete and Building Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Concreter/Formwork Carpenter and/or labourer to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania.
This role will involve performing a variety of concrete and carpentry tasks to support our projects across the region.
What you'll be doing
- Pouring and finishing of concrete for foundations, slabs, driveways, footpaths, pads & piers
- Constructing, installing and dismantling formwork and other general building work
- Site preparation
- Reading and interpreting engineered plans and specifications to ensure work is completed to the required standards
- Operating power tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborating with construction teams to coordinate work and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high quality
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
What we're looking for
- A minimum of two years experience as a Concreter or Formwork Carpenter
- Strong practical skills in concrete pouring, finishing, and formwork construction
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings
- Proficient with power tools and construction equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
