The Administration Officer - Injury Management will be responsible for the processing and timely payment of workers compensation accounts and accurate data entry through the Self Insurance Management System (SIMS) which will comprise of entry for new claims, invoice expenses, income maintenance and, injury management contact details What We Offer: Work in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment with a culture of inclusion and diversity.

Key Responsibilities: Process and assess workers compensation claims in accordance with the Return to Work Act ****, including preparation of correspondence and maintenance of SIMS database Calculate notional weekly earnings and coordinate prompt payment of income maintenance and accounts in consultation with Finance and Payroll teams Build and maintain collaborative relationships with injury management teams, managers, employees and representatives to ensure service needs are met Provide advice on claims and data processes to stakeholders while ensuring confidential maintenance of injury management files for all injured workers Monitor claims outcomes and workflow trends, reporting findings to the Claims Consultant and implementing agreed system enhancements for improved service delivery Support workplace culture initiatives by facilitating dispute resolution referrals and providing coverage for WHS Administration functions within the team
