About the role
Sabrands is seeking an experienced and commercially astute HR Manager to partner with our Leadership Team in driving organisational performance, capability and culture.
Reporting to the CEO, this is a pivotal role responsible for translating business strategy into practical and actionable people plans, ensuring we build the organisational capability required to execute our growth ambitions. You will also lead the development and ongoing management of Sabrands' Employee Value Proposition (EVP), ensuring it clearly reflects who we are as an employer and supports attraction, engagement and retention of high-quality talent.
You will lead the HR function end-to-end, shaping a high-performance, high-engagement culture while delivering operational excellence across the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
* Partner with leaders to align people strategy with business goals
* Translate strategic priorities into clear workforce, capability, and talent plans
* Develop and embed a strong EVP and performance-driven culture
Talent & Development
* Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to development and retention
* Drive performance management and learning & development initiatives
HR Operations & Compliance
* Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and best-practice HR governance
* Provide guidance on employee relations matters
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
Financial & Risk Management
* Manage the HR budget
* Partner with CEO on compensation and benefits frameworks
* Apply WHS and risk management practices to maintain a safe and compliant workplace
About You
* Proven experience in a senior HR role within a commercially driven environment
* Strong business acumen with the ability to influence at executive level
* Experience building and embedding high-performance cultures
* Demonstrated success in talent strategy, workforce planning, and EVP development
* A pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset with strong execution capability
* Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation
