Manager of Security, Corrective Services NSW – Statewide Talent Pool Creation

- $195,734 pa fixed, plus superannuation and leave loading
- Training and development opportunities available to build and maintain capabilities
The Manager of Security provides high level operational leadership and direction for management in small, medium and large correctional centres, this includes the coordination of the purposeful day, effective provision of security, inmate related services and ensuring the maintenance of staff discipline. Manager of Security roles also lead and direct special projects or specialised services within Corrective Services NSW.
You will be highly enthusiastic and motivated to support and lead a culture of integrity and discipline within the team. In this role, you are required to maintain confidentiality, utilise your proven leadership experience and knowledge to meet the demands of the role. Your proven experience will enable you to make informative decisions for the effective operation of the correctional centre. Critical to your success in this role is your ability to be an innovative leader that is passionate about implementing workplace reform and effective performance development systems for our custodial staff.
Essential Requirements:
- Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW
- Comply with National Heavy Vehicle Law and Regulations and Chain of responsibility Policy and Procedures (CESU roles only)
Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers qualified correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
