**Job Description**
This position requires a senior leader with expertise in medical services and clinical governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic advice on complex clinical, medico-legal, ethical, and operational challenges.
The role involves promoting a quality improvement culture and developing high-performing teams that deliver healthcare to consumers in a large and diverse geographical area.
* Provide leadership and guidance on medical services and clinical governance.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and safety of care.
* Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
* Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
**Requirements:**
* MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Fellowship of either the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) or Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
* Enrollment and maintenance of ongoing CPD program with the appropriate bodies.
