Digital Work Management Deputy Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Work Management Deputy Project Manager to join our Hunter Class Line of Business based at Adelaide. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term opportunity.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
The successful candidate will effectively engage stakeholders with an emphasis on managing sub-contractors Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in software development to achieve the required outcomes within the defined scope, cost, schedule and quality constraints while also managing risk and opportunity.
About You
* You will have specific project management qualifications or vocational/trade or higher education qualifications in project management and/or allied disciplines.
* Experience in or with a software development project is highly regarded.
* You will have demonstrated experience in a project or business management role, delivering outcomes for straightforward projects.
* You will be able to foster a positive collaborative culture between key project stakeholders and the project team.
* You will ensure all project requirements and objectives are properly documented.

Key Responsibilities
* Foster a positive collaborative culture between key project stakeholders and the project team.
* Ensure all project requirements and objectives are properly documented.
* Delivery of works following Project Management policies and processes.
* Track and report progress and forecast final targets for cost and schedule.
* Document and track changes in project parameters, obstacles and delays and implement appropriate mitigations.
* Managing project resources to meet current and future needs.
