You will play a key role in providing expert advice and support to our clients on a range of indirect tax matters (including stamp duty, land tax and payroll tax).
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:Provide comprehensive legal advice on indirect tax matters to clients;Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients in navigating complex indirect tax laws and regulations;Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and tax filings;Assist in the preparation of private ruling applications and objections/appeals;Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and provide proactive advice to clients; andBuild and/or maintain client relationships.Who We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have at least 6 years' experience as a lawyer specialising in indirect taxes, preferably within a reputable law firm or the legal arm of a large accounting firm.
You will have in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.
