Boilermaker Your new company My client is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join their maintenance team, responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining fixed plant equipment in a mining operation. This plays a key part in ensuring plant reliability and operational efficiency. This would be great for candidates who live in the South-West. Your new role Fabricate, weld, and repair fixed plant components Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to minimise equipment downtime Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders accurately Operate cutting, grinding, and welding equipment safely and effectively Conduct structural inspections and report defects or hazards Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to prioritise tasks Maintain compliance with site safety standards and procedures Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for plant reliability What you'll need to succeed Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) High Risk Work Licence Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry tickets Current Driving Licence Strong welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, Stick) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Familiarity with mine site safety protocols and hazard identification What you'll get in return $72 per hour 36-hour week Day shift only Flexibility to return home every night – no FIFO required Local role with consistent hours and reliable scheduling Supportive team environment with potential longer-term opportunities What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
