We are looking for a friendly, organized and proactive Library Aide to join our Junior School team for a fixed‐term, part‐time role (0.4 FTE) from 13 July 2026 to 4 December 2026, working two days per week.
What You'll Do
* Support daily library operations, including borrowing and returning resources
* Shelve, organise and maintain library collections
* Assist students in selecting books and developing a love of reading
* Create engaging book displays and themed library experiences
* Assist with lessons, activities and library events
* Process and manage new resources
* Maintain a welcoming, organised and functional library space
* Support stocktakes and audits
What You'll Bring
* A genuine love of literature and enthusiasm for promoting reading
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Confidence using library systems (Oliver experience desirable)
* Ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks
* Relevant Library Aide/Technician qualifications (desirable)
* Eligibility to hold a Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
