About the Role
Diablo Co is seeking an experienced and highly capable General Manager to run the operational heart of the business.
This is a hands‑on, detail‑focused role suited to someone with strong financial discipline, excellent organisational systems, and the ability to keep a business running smoothly end to end.
You will oversee all daily operations, including production scheduling, stock management, supplier coordination, distributor requirements, financial data support, compliance, and workflow structure.
You will personally manage the operational workload while helping build a stronger, more efficient business.
We are a small team of seven full‑time staff plus additional casuals.
This role works closely with all departments, the Bookkeeper, suppliers, distributors, and the sales team.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting/finance background who naturally brings order, accuracy, structure, and leadership into a business.
Core Responsibilities Operations & Production Full day‑to‑day operational control
Production scheduling and raw‑material planning
Stock level monitoring across factory, warehouse, and suppliers
Complete all distributor forms, onboarding, CPI documents, price files
Maintain product specs, label information, and compliance documents
Ensure all distributor information is organised and up to date Logistics & Administration Freight bookings and dispatch coordination
Order processing, invoicing, Salesforce updates Financial Operations Timesheets and payroll data for bookkeeper
Costings, margins, and operational financial accuracy
Confident use of Xero and Excel for reporting and tracking System & Process Control Maintain operational trackers and internal documents
Ensure processes are followed and improved where needed
Solve daily problems across supply chain, production, and admin Leadership Ensure all departments stay on schedule and budget
Keep communication structured and flowing Skills & Experience 15+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or business administration
Exceptional organisational ability
Strong business judgment and commercial understanding
Experience handling multiple priorities without losing accuracy
High confidence in Xero, Excel, and operational systems
Strong communication and problem‑solving ability
A natural ability to bring structure, accountability, and calm to a fast‑moving environment Package
