The Opportunity
Geo Cabinets' is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in Busselton, WA. As a Cabinet Maker, you will play a vital role in crafting high-quality, custom cabinetry and furniture for our residential and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interpret design plans and blueprints to create custom cabinets, vanities, and other furniture pieces
2. Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, and sanders to shape, cut, and assemble cabinet components
3. Ensure all work meets strict quality standards and safety protocols
4. Collaborate with the design team to translate client requirements into functional, visually appealing products
5. Assist with the installation of completed cabinetry and furniture
6. Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
What We're Looking For
1. Formal qualifications in Cabinet Making or a related trade
2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a custom or high-end cabinetry environment
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting design plans and blueprints
4. Intermediate level proficiency in reading and interpreting design plans and blueprints is essential
5. Skilled in the use of woodworking tools and machinery
6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
7. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
9. Permanent residency status is required for this position
