We are seeking a highly skilled NPI Engineer to support our growing engineering operations.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be the primary engineering contact for new electro-mechanical projects, providing end-to-end support from design through release. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and occasional travel may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in New Product Introduction environments
* Provide technical support for NPI projects
* Participate in NPI teams as assigned
* Track and report on NPI team action items and schedules
* Follow up with NPI project managers on outstanding actions
* Initial part number creation, including test configuration documents, schematics, checklist documents, user manuals, test plans, and prototype material tracking
* Prototype build support, qualification testing support, and travel to customer sites and test certification labs as required
Qualifications and Skills
* Associate's degree (minimum), Bachelor's degree (preferred), with preference for any engineering concentration
* Proven track record in New Project releases
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) programs such as Agile
* Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAGE or other, and Engineering Change Order/Engineering Product Change Notice (ECO/PCN) process
