The Central Administration and Payroll Officer plays a vital role in the smooth running of the College. This position forms an essential part of the administrative team, providing support to Central Administration personnel. This role involves being the first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors to Central Administration, as well as providing administrative assistance to the Business Manager, Finance team and Human Resources Officer. The successful applicant will have: * Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a school environment * A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including MS Forms * Previous experience working with Databases, such as Seqta, AOS and MyHR * Previous experience in recruitment and employment administration is highly desirable, along with the ability to interpret EBA / Award / Legislation * Experience working with financial data in roles such as AP, AR, payroll or bookkeeping * A current Working with Children Check and Crim Track Clearance (or be willing to obtain) We are seeking someone that is: * Willing to uphold the ethos of Catholic education * Organised with a keen eye for detail * Able to demonstrate experience in working under pressure and juggling multiple tasks * A highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills so as to engage positively with colleagues, students and parents * Sensitive to working with confidential information About this Opportunity In this challenging and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students, staff and community.
