About the roleOur Customer Solutions team is seeking a Projects Support Officer to join their team at our head office in Tomago.
This role is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, available on a 12-month fixed-term basis as maternity leave coverage.
This position offers hybrid work flexibility and opportunities for career development.Reporting to the Branch Support Manager, the Projects Support Officer will participate in key projects and initiatives that contribute to business improvement across the state.
A key aspect of this role involves managing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining both current and new business systems and processes.
The role further includes integrating improvement initiatives as directed by internal management.With a strong focus on internal collaboration, this role depends on effective engagement across the business to gather requirements and support the scoping, planning, and delivery of projects and initiatives.
This effective engagement is critical to ensuring sustainable outputs are introduced and business objectives are achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport specialist projects by assisting with the development, transition, and implementation of new or improved business systems, processes, and initiatives for relevant stakeholdersReview and update existing process documentation, including work instructions, process maps, and training materialsDevelop new documentation and deliver training to support the successful implementation of new systems, processes, or tasksReview mapped processes and provide relevant data to internal stakeholders in alignment with project objectives, individual capabilities, and requirementsCollaborate with stakeholders to deliver project outcomes and uphold operational excellence through adherence to business processes and standardsAnalyse data to identify opportunities for improvement initiatives and recommend appropriate actionsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify and recommend opportunities within projects or business units, with a focus on reducing waste and enhancing efficienciesSkills & ExperienceDemonstrated experience in developing business reports and creating data visualisations to support informed decision-makingAdvanced computer literacy skills including MS Office and project management toolsExcellent organisational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong customer service skills with the ability to develop solid positive working relationshipsDeveloped analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonalFree On-Site ParkingMade for More RewardsOpportunities for career development12 Weeks Paid Parental LeaveAbility to purchase additional annual leaveRDO opt in availableIncome protection covering you 24/7Fitness Passport for the whole familyRefer a friend program – work alongside your mates and receive up to $**** for each successful referral!
