Job Title: Assurance Specialist
The role of the Assurance Specialist is a critical component of our operations, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Compliance Management:
* Ensure all health and safety guidelines, policies, and regulations are adhered to at the site.
* Proactively identify and address safety hazards, mitigate risks, and resolve safety concerns in the workplace.
2. Quality Assurance & Testing:
* Manage onsite testing activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
* Conduct civil and structural material testing as required.
* Perform regular inspections and reviews to verify third-party technicians adhere to quality and safety policies.
* Complete quality field inspections in accordance with quality documents and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
3. Documentation & Reporting:
* Prepare and maintain quality management testing and reporting documentation.
* Monitor, audit, and report findings related to quality management activities, processes, and procedures.
4. Collaboration & Coordination:
* Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Construction teams, providing quality planning support.
* Coordinate all quality management activities and personnel.
* Communicate effectively with Design Engineers regarding Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Variances, Field Change Requests, and Design Changes.
5. Additional Responsibilities:
* Perform other duties as assigned by the employer.
This is a seasonal position, working on a 15 days on/13 days off rotation. The position involves working at a remote mine site in Northwestern British Columbia and Tahltan Territory. Ground transportation will be provided from local communities to the Eskay Creek Site facilities.

The expected hourly range for this position is CA$35/h - CA$48/h.
