**Our client**:A rapidly growing international IPP with a focus on Australia and Asia. Dedicated to developing, delivering and managing successful utility-scale BESS, Solar and hydrogen projects in AU.
**About the Role**:Working closely with the Head of Projects and Development and Development Managers, you will be responsible for aligning day-to-day coordination of stakeholder engagement and communications with the overall project development strategy, as well as supporting the business throughout the construction and operations phases of projects.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to support the development of the project portfolio and strategic plan.
- Develop, implement and coordinate works programs to deliver engagement initiatives to support development activities, promote the brand, build relationships and enhance growth opportunities.
- Implement a program of internal stakeholder reporting within the development team to maintain a high level of engagement and awareness of stakeholder activities.
- Develop and implement a digital and social media strategy, ensuring communication mediums remain current and relevant to the audience in collaboration with the Marketing/Communications department.
- Provide advice to management on new engagement initiatives to ensure stakeholder engagement and communication plans are considered in business planning activities.
- Coordinate and participate in community open days for renewable energy projects, ensuring successful engagement with the community.
- Support the development team in discussions with all relevant stakeholders including landholders, government authorities, local communities and other stakeholders.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in stakeholder engagement (preferably with experience in the renewable energy sector)
- Tertiary qualifications in communications/stakeholder engagement (desirable) and or journalism
- Certified professional qualifications/training in stakeholder engagement - IAP2 (desirable) or equivalent
- Strong capability to relate to communities and develop collateral that presents information in digestible and easy-to-understand formats
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Media training would be looked upon favourably but not essential
**Required**:
- Current Driver's License and willingness to travel nationally and internationally when needed
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship is required
