Modern Teaching Aids is seeking reliable and motivated Forklift Operators (LO & LF – High Reach and Counterbalance) to join our busy Warehouse and Distribution Centre in Brendale. This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive team with long-term potential.
About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include:
* Operating high-reach forklifts (LF), counterbalance forklifts (LF) and stock pickers (LO)
* Moving, stacking, replenishing and counting stock
* Picking and putting away stock accurately
* Working safely and efficiently to meet daily productivity targets
* Collaborating with team members to support smooth warehouse operations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven stand-up high-reach forklift experience (RF scanning experience desirable)
* A minimum of 1-2 years of stand-up high-reach forklift operating experience
* A valid LO and/or LF licence
* Both LO and LF licences are required
* Steel cap footwear and hi-vis clothing
* The ability to follow instructions and work safely
* A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
* Willingness to participate in random drug and alcohol testing, in line with site safety requirements
* Two contactable work references
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
Shift & Pay
AM Shift
* Monday to Friday,
* 6:00 am – 1:56 pm / 2:00 pm - 9:56 pm
* $35.87 per hour (casual)
* Potential for permanent employment
* Must be available Monday to Friday
