Join a dynamic and passionate team of dedicated staff Competitive salary and employee benefits on offer Contribute to rehabilitation of young people and community safety Youth Justice provides programs and resources to assist young people who have offended to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes to manage their lives effectively without further offending. We provide supervision and case management of young people between 10—21 years of age who have committed offences and been sentenced to community or custodial based statutory orders and/or on release from custody on parole. Through supervision, offending related programs and linkages to appropriate support services, we promote opportunities for rehabilitation and contribute to the reduction of crime in the community. The Youth Justice Team Manager supervises and leads a diverse case management team at our Dandenong office, oversees the allocation of resources within the team and resolves complex operational issues. You will also prepare of a variety of written documentation and reports, providing in depth analysis to senior stakeholders within legislative requirements, ensuring the delivery of broad strategic directions. We are currently recruiting to a full time, fixed term position through to March 2026. About You As our ideal candidate, you will demonstrate: experience in and passion for managing teams and resources ensuring smooth delivery of services and organisational change experience working with youth and a thorough understanding of the Youth Justice System, particularly the principles and philosophy underpinning relevant legislation and the Victorian Youth Justice program excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively build relationships with people at all levels proven written communication skills and an ability to plan and provide strategically appropriate recommendations to various stakeholders.
