Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment and providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate all diagnostic imaging equipment including information systems (RIS/PACS/Firstnet, BOSS)
* Participate in roster which includes being available for reasonable overtime and out of hours recall and shift duty
* Operate all ultrasound systems across the health service
* Display leadership by example and experience
* Assist with ongoing practical supervision and training of students
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Advanced Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Medical Imaging or related field
* Current registration with the relevant professional association
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* High level of technical skill and ability to learn new technologies quickly
