As our Van Driver, you'll be operating and delivering in our vans as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day. You'll be working autonomously out on‑the‑road, interacting with others and being a team player and it doesn't get better than that
Permanent Part Time: Monday/Wednesday and Friday 2pm to 6pm
Responsibilities
* Safely perform and operate a van to pick up mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices and Delivery Centres.
* Pick up mail and parcel items from our customers.
* Unload mail articles from vans and manually sort them into small or large letters and parcels including express posts.
* Complete your own daily vehicle safety check.
* Partner with our experienced senior drivers who are committed to engaging and supporting your professional development.
Qualifications
* Hold a full or probationary Australian driver's licence.
* Successfully pass our mandatory and practical driving assessment.
* Flexibility to work additional hours if required.
* Excellent memory, attention to detail and ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly.
* Potential to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less.
