ARRCS are seeing an experienced and proactive Management Account to support key stakeholders with data driven financial analysis, commercial advisory and operational support. This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis at a remuneration of $110,000 - $120,000 gross base PA.
As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the analysis of ARRCS finances and provide strategic advice to improve financial performance, you will also ensure compliance and work in partnership with Service and Program Managers to deliver monthly budget variations and forecasting and budget processes. You will also be responsible for managing the ARRCS Capital Plan, which includes endorsing approved CAPEX, monitoring expenditure, and managing the allocation of any unspent funds.
You will be actively involved in invoicing and payment processes, ensuring that all financial reports—whether for internal stakeholders or external funding bodies—are prepared accurately and delivered on time. You will work closely with Service and Program Managers during the annual and mid-year budgeting cycles, identifying critical financial areas early, completing preliminary calculations, and providing valuable input into business proposal planning and cost analysis. In addition, you will support stakeholders and operational teams by offering sound commercial and operational advice that helps improve both financial outcomes and operational performance.
To be successful in this role, your working career will demonstrate highly developed commercial, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with a robust ability to conduct comprehensive financial and statistical analysis.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and professional approach to working with people across the organization.
An understanding of aged care legislation and or government funding frameworks is preferred, as is advanced computer literacy and experience using ERP systems. You should also bring strong knowledge accounting compliance requirements and external reporting obligations, with preference within aged care or community services.

Skills & experience
To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
- Highly developed commercial, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including comprehensive financial and statistical analysis skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and professional approach.
- Ability to understand and work within aged care legislation and funding frameworks.
- Advanced computer and literacy skills ideally with experience in an ERP software system.
- Understanding of Not-for-Profit business (compliance requirements, financial and external levers) and health, aged care, retirement living and community services sectors, including acquittal requirements.
- Ability to work with key stakeholders across large geographical areas.
- Ability to apply planning, coordination and time management skills to projects and tasks
