About the Position
Walton Bridge Medical Centre is seeking Medical Receptionists to join our team across our two practices in The Gap Village Shopping Centre.
We have both Full Time and Part Time opportunities available. An immediate start is available, but we are willing to wait for the right person to join our team. Experienced Medical Receptionists are encouraged to apply.
Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone.
Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records.
Processing payments, Medicare and third-party claims and reconciliations
General administration and daily office duties
Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
High level of computer literacy
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a diverse team and independently
Availability to work flexibility to cover annual leave
Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
