OverviewJoin to apply for the Radiographer role at St Vincent's Health Australia.Role: Radiographer | Role Type: Casual | Department and Location: Angiography Department, The Mater Hospital, North SydneySalary: ************* AUD base per hour.About the RoleWe have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Radiographer to join our dynamic team within the Angiography and Hybrid departments.
You will provide technical support and expertise in relation to radiological and imaging requirements and assist with the efficient and safe running of the Angiography/Hybrid suites.
You will also support the departments in radiation management, fulfilling the responsibilities of a radiation safety officer.
Duties are to be performed as an essential member of a cohesive team, who is reliable and enthusiastic.
You will be expected to work in the Angiography and Hybrid Suites for procedures such as cardiac and peripheral intervention, cardiac electrophysiological studies and catheter ablations and interventional radiology.
The successful applicant will be expected to work on a rotating Monday to Friday roster, with on-call overnights and weekends.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and expertise in radiological and imaging requirements; assist with efficient and safe operation of Angiography/Hybrid suites.Support radiation management and fulfill responsibilities as a radiation safety officer.Work as an essential member of a cohesive, reliable, and enthusiastic team.Work within Angiography and Hybrid Suites for cardiac and peripheral interventions, including electrophysiological studies, catheter ablations, and interventional radiology.Adhere to a rotating Monday–Friday roster with on-call overnights and weekends.About You / QualificationsCompleted Bachelor of Science Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration.Current NSW EPA Radiation Licence.Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience.Experience with Siemens and Philips software applications.Strong background in radiation safety and legislation, including experience with the EPA, ensuring licences for medical staff and education of multi-disciplinary staff on radiation safety protocols.Demonstrated experience participating in accreditation procedures and establishing clinical protocols.Why Work at St Vincent's?
