We are seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to residents at our Bethanie Como Aged Care Home. You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day-to-day activities, ensuring safety and well-being are maintained, and building positive professional relationships with residents and team members.
These positions are offered on a permanent, part-time basis. The shifts for the roles are as follows:
Week 1 - Wed
Week 2 - Mon, Tues, Sat & Sun
10pm - 7am shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Refer to care plans and ensure clients' needs are met
Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic, and interests) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
Deliver all personal care tasks (including toileting & showering) with dignity and respect
Maintain clients' rooms and the facility environment to an appropriate standard
Skills & Knowledge:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well as a team and independently
Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
Current NDIS Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
Current vaccinations, or willingness to obtain (minimum of one COVID vaccination and annual flu vaccination)
