The Position
* Assist in the planning and preparation of food production across functions and in house menu-based catering
* Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS
* Drive cost-efficiency, minimize food waste, and work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
* Demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, guiding and developing the team to success.
* Crafting and executing seasonal menus for both daily service and large-scale events.
* Upholding the highest standards of food safety, allergen management, and occupational health.
THE PERSON
* Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
* Must be able to obtain Working with Children Check
* Leadership abilities and enjoys creating a positive work culture
* Experience with cooking healthy and nutritious food in bulk quantities
* Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
* Experience in menu development and costing
