Repair Coordinator Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Repair Coordinator to support our Service team in the newly built Metso Karratha Service Centre.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating and issuing work packs to internal workshops or vendors, obtaining relevant drawings and technical information, and developing repair scopes of work.
You will also create cost estimates and detailed customer proposals, undertake planning and scheduling activities, and issue job packs with repair scopes of work and drawings to internal workshops and to sub-contractors under the company 'Document control' system.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the team job register to the required standards in a timely fashion, answering technical queries from the workshops and vendors, and conducting QA /QC inspections to ensure all repairs are to company standards.
Other key responsibilities include inspecting all jobs prior to dispatch, signing off relevant documentation, creating Manufacturers Date Records (MDRs) for each job, reviewing the profit margin achieved for each job, and attending customer meetings and updating on job progress.
A Repair Coordinator is expected to work closely with customers, verbally, through emails, via work in progress reports, and in meetings. Investigate all negative customer feedback, put in place corrective actions to prevent a reoccurrence, and respond appropriately to the customer.
