Join Our Mental Health Team
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality mental health services to clients and their families.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of triage, comprehensive assessment, acute and assertive outreach services to clients. They will also develop collaborative treatment plans with individuals and their families or carers, reflecting best available evidence and emphasizing positive outcomes.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team and provide support and information to clients, their families, and carers. You will also contribute to the education of the wider community.
Requirements
* A relevant tertiary qualification as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a registered nurse)
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated experience in the assessment and management of people presenting with acute mental health disorders
* Demonstrated excellent negotiation skills and verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act and related legislation
