The Procurement Lead Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) plays a pivotal role within Health Infrastructure Queensland (HIQ), overseeing the end-to-end process of selecting, procuring, purchasing, delivering, and installing FF&E for major health infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for planning, developing, negotiating, and delivering procurement activities for both clinical and non-clinical equipment across capital projects, ensuring a client-focused and transparent approach. Leveraging strong stakeholder engagement skills, the Procurement Lead FF&E coordinates specialised requirements to meet business needs and organisational objectives, on time and within budget, while managing complex components tailored to the unique demands of large-scale health infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and provide high-quality FF&E procurement advice and services, including procurement planning, sourcing documentation development, release and evaluation processes, and contract negotiation, formation, management, and administration.
* Contribute to high-level professional practice by applying contemporary procurement strategies for healthcare facilities in line with Queensland Health and Whole-of-Government policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Oversee FF&E program delivery across multiple projects, including scheduling and coordinating item delivery to align with shifting project timelines.
* Ensure accurate data management, analysis, and reporting, including budget management and financial reporting for executive audiences, using systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, SAP S/4HANA, Aconex, and dRofus.
* Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including specialist consultants, Project Directors, clinical/non-clinical teams, and vendors to ensure FF&E requirements are met effectively.
