Promising a long-term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on a 7/7 (12-hour days) roster.Responsibilities include:Executing work according to schedule, scope, quality standards, and within timeframes. Recording job information during execution for later entry in Pronto. Returning unused parts and materials to stores. Ordering parts and materials for new Priority 1 and 2 Work Orders as directed.Raising new Work Requests with detailed scope, supporting documents, drawings, and photos for efficient planning. Creating Continuous Improvement Work Requests for corrections to Maintenance Plans.Completing actual work hours against Work Orders, entering notes, and closing Work Orders. Returning physical documents for record keeping.Ensuring compliance with Work Health & Safety Act 2020 and Mines Regulations 2022. Demonstrating proactive safety measures, attending daily pre-start meetings, and reporting hazards.Maintaining workplace housekeeping and environmental standards, operating in accordance with environmental policies to prevent pollution and minimize environmental impact.Contributing positively to team culture aligned with KCGM’s vision and communicating effectively across all levels.Qualifications and experience:Minimum 2 years in the mining industry, with skills in butt welding, electrofusion welding, and extrusion welding.Competency in HDPE Poly Welding, Confined Spaces, Gas Testing, EWP, Forklift, Rigging, First Aid, Heights; valid Western Australian Driver’s License; recent Police Clearance; extrusion welding skills.Desirable: Passion for growth and contributing to Northern Star’s dynamic environment.Benefits include:Subsidised GU Health InsuranceGold Price Variable BonusShort-term Incentive BonusEmployee Share PlanParental Leave PolicyRewards ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramsIncome protection insuranceSalary sacrificing optionsEligibility: Candidates must pass medical, drug, alcohol screening, possess relevant work rights, and hold a valid Australian police clearance.
