The Inventory Team Lead role at our site is pivotal in ensuring accurate, efficient and reliable stock management across the operation. This position plays a key part in overseeing inventory levels and driving performance through data analysis, guaranteeing data integrity and leading a team to uphold high standards of accuracy, compliance and service delivery.




About The Role


As an Inventory Team Lead, you will be responsible for:



* Optimising inventory performance through SAP-driven analysis and implementing effective control regimes.

* Developing and structuring the inventory team to manage inventory levels effectively, meeting or exceeding inventory level commitments for Logistics.

* Implementing cycle count/physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy.

* Providing relevant reporting and documentation on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

* Supporting and maintaining SAP stock management system for the site.

* Managing stock control to deliver objectives and service level targets.





Key Responsibilities


Some of your key responsibilities include:



* Leading by example and promoting safety values, implementing policies and systems to embed safety into the culture and ways of working.

* Meet or exceed inventory level commitments for Logistics and own KPI monitoring/updates.

* Challenging current systems and processes to promote innovation and continuous improvement within the inventory team and wider business.

* Actively seeking operational efficiencies and proactively managing multiple tasks effectively.





Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



* A proven track record in inventory control management and team development/leadership.

* Strong planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Proficient in various computer programs, including advanced MS Excel for detailed data analysis.
