About the role
Calvary Riverina are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our perioperative team. This role is a part-time (FTE 0.6) position working across both our Main Theatre department and Surgicentre.
Your main duties will include:
Planning and delivery of education, learning and development to the perioperative department
Quality improvement and management
Presenting and facilitating the development of junior clinical staff and students
Promoting an environment that adheres to professional, perioperative and national standards
About you
Demonstrated minimum of 3 years perioperative experience (anaesthetic/recovery nursing experience is desired)
AHPRA Registration
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as both an independent and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
Demonstrated experience in education, learning and development
Commitment to quality improvement and adhering to perioperative and national standards
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
