Your HR Officer expertise is required for this unique Not for Profit Organisation
**Your new company**
Our client is a community based organisation, on the northern Gold Coast. A current opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis to support their HR functions in Queensland.
**Your new role**
The Human Resources Officer would be responsible for:
- Being the first point of contact for any HR related queries
- Rewrite, implement and monitor the HR process and procedures
- Coordination of workplace injuries, both work related and non-work related including liaising with WorkCover Insurers, injured workers, and Managers to coordinate claim lodgment, Return to Work and meet all statutory obligations.
- Preparing and amending HR documents
- HR Administration duties: filing, quarterly reporting, website updates, policy drafting
- Maintaining a focus on continuous improvement for the HR function and adjusting the workplace culture and morale positively
- Provide support to the broader administration and finance team as required.
**What you'll need to succeed**
This position would suit a HR professional who has a strong foundation of experience, has a relevant tertiary qualification, and demonstrated experience in several HR activities. Would suit someone with:
- At least a minimum of 2 years' experience in a generalist HR position.
- Experience in utilising HR systems and the ability to generate reports.
- Ability to build strong working relationships.
- Ability to use initiative and develop people improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work in unison with the HR team.
