About the role
We are looking for an experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at TIDES CAFE' in Mandurah, Western Australia. Approx 35/38 hrs per week Wed to Sunday where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals for our customers in a vibrant seaside setting.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality meals and dishes to our customers
* Ensuring that all food preparation and cooking is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
* Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
* Assisting with menu development and suggesting new dish ideas
* Working closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Chef/Cook, ideally within the Hospitality & Tourism industry
* Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
* Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
* Passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes
* Food safety and hygiene certification
