The opportunity.
These newly created positions directly support Defence Bank's purpose and ensures our members can count on us by building relevance across the life stage product cycle, to better support our Australian Defence Forces and its broader community meet their financial needs and financial goals.
**This position is accountable for**:
- Welcoming the Australian Defence Force and broader community to the bank.
- Engaging our newly acquired members in needs-based conversations to find the right solution/s.
- Educating members on our banking products and services offerings and on how to utilise digital and mobile banking tools to enhance their banking experience.
- Supporting the bank to achieve deposit growth and members achieving a positive transactional banking experience.
- Ensuring data collection meets the business needs and captures important data to improve data integrity.
- Working closely with our marketing product team to define membership retention opportunities.
- Achieving sales targets and key performance indicators as outlined in the annual budget.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About you.
**You possess demonstrated experience or skills in**:
- Previous experience in a customer service/sales role.
- A tertiary education or a background in financial services would be highly regarded.
- Transactional banking experience and a background in home/personal lending would be highly desirable.
- A highly positive attitude and a commitment to successful outcomes.
