The business is currently focused on strengthening capability across leadership, embedding governance and compliance frameworks, and delivering a number of strategic initiatives aligned to its long term direction. About the Role:
This is a critical executive level interim appointment, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team. The role provides both strategic direction and operational leadership across the People and Culture function during a period of change and capability uplift.
You will be responsible for translating organisational priorities into clear and structured people initiatives, while ensuring the effective delivery of core people processes across the business. A key focus will be driving positive organisational changes, consulting at the executive level, strengthening governance and compliance practices, and leading a well established, stable and high performing People & Culture team.
While the role is positioned at a strategic level, it requires a pragmatic and adaptable leader who can operate across both strategy and execution, including stepping into operational matters where required. You will work closely with executive stakeholders to uplift capability, provide coaching, and embed the value of business partnering across the organisation.
This is an immediate start, 5-6 month parental leave contract.
About You:
You are an experienced senior People and Culture leader with a proven track record operating at executive level within both large and SME complex, evolving environments. You bring strong capability across organisational change, culture transformation, and workforce strategy, combined with the ability to deliver outcomes in ambiguous and fast moving contexts.
You are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, providing clear and considered advice, and influencing decision making at the highest level. Your leadership style is collaborative, pragmatic, and outcomes focused, with the ability to balance strategic intent with operational realities.
You will bring deep expertise across employee relations, governance, and compliance, along with experience leading and embedding large scale initiatives such as diversity and inclusion programs. Experience strong commercial backgrounds with the ability and passion to work within a purpose-driven environment.
