Executive Government Services is part of the State Services Division and provides strategic support and advice on the management and operation of State Parliament, supports the Executive Council and Executive Government, and delivers executive support to the Premier, Ministers, their officers, and agencies in relation to the management of Cabinet business and its sub-committees.
The Directorate is also responsible for ensuring matters of State Protocol are managed effectively and efficiently, and for the provision of educational services both through schools and to the public through the Constitutional Centre of Western Australia.
About the Role
The Senior Project Officer provides support and advice to the Manager and Director, contributing to research and analysis in relation to the development, implementation, and review of Government priorities from a cross portfolio perspective. To be successful in this role, you will be confident in building relationships, work collaboratively and be able to provide sound strategic advice to a range of senior stakeholders in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
The successful applicant will maintain expert awareness of Cabinet, Parliamentary and Executive Government policies, processes and protocols and provide effective and efficient support and advice to staff and stakeholders.
The successful applicant will be resilient, adaptive and have a continuous improvement mindset with experience working in a changing environment.
