The Opportunity
**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled contract management professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our aerospace programs. The successful candidate will have experience in managing commercial agreements, including preparing, negotiating and managing a broad range of contracts.
Key responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders, providing advice to project managers and business stakeholders, developing procurement strategies and priorities, analysing and evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating supplier deviations to contract provisions and recommending final supplier selection.
In addition, the successful candidate will monitor and report contract cost, schedule and status, and recommend or implement corrective action as necessary.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a contract management role with exposure to procurement contract terms and conditions
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract law
* Demonstrated experience in the delivery of supplier management and/or sourcing activities
* Demonstrated experience in the Defence industry is desirable
* Tertiary Education in Commerce, Law or Business or relevant experience
* High level competency in written and oral communication and standard business tools and systems
