Where you'll be working
Ryde Hospital Executive
Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/ambulatory care services and much more.
Construction commenced in early 2023, and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.
What you'll be doing
The General Manager, Ryde Hospital, is responsible for planning, directing and managing the total operations and resources of Ryde Hospital to ensure the effective and efficient provision of high quality health services.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
* Relevant qualifications in health management, business management, and/or equivalent work experience.
* Experience and proven record of achievement working in a wide range of the components of health services, including demonstrated understanding and ability to successfully manage a large operating and capital budget and the complexities of managing a metropolitan hospital.
* Demonstrated high level proficiency in strategy and operational management and planning including analysis and problem solving skills to identify and analyse current and future community and patient needs, and to develop innovative solutions, plans and strategies to effectively response to these needs.
