Branded Beef Sales & Development Manager

We are a proudly family‑owned and operated Australian agricultural enterprise and one of the first Australian companies to breed, grow, feed, process, and market Wagyu beef.

We are at the forefront of Australian premium beef production, proudly the winner of numerous gold medals at the World Steak Challenge since 2015 including the top gong of "World's Best Steak" 4 times in the last 11 years. We currently hold the title of "World's Best Wagyu Steak", winning this award in 2025 and after also having won the "World's Best Steak" at the World Steak Challenge in both 2024 and 2025 with our Jack's Creek Wagyu beef.

We now process and market grain‑fed Wagyu and Black Angus products and proudly export to over 30 countries around the world.


ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Branded Beef Sales & Business Development Manager to be responsible for the planning and execution of export sales strategies focusing on the UAE and Africa by developing relationships with wholesale distributors, retail customers, and end users to drive business growth in those markets through strategic market analysis and sales planning.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop and execute export sales strategies targeting wholesale distributors, retail customers, and end users.
* Perform cost‑benefit analysis of existing and potential customers to identify growth opportunities.
* Maintain strong business relationships with new and existing customers to ensure future sales.
* Address and resolve customer problems and complaints efficiently to maintain high customer satisfaction.
* Identify and explore new business opportunities in various markets within the UAE and Africa.
* Develop market entry strategies that emphasize product quality and brand integrity to create a strong presence in the region.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish a solid platform for brand growth and expansion.
* Provide demand and sales planning forecasts to the Sales Manager and Sales team.
* Develop and execute export sales strategies tailored to market needs and opportunities.
* Work closely with Sales Coordinators to optimise production allocation, minimise errors, and enhance profitability.
* Continuously analyse industry trends and market conditions to improve sales strategies and performance.
* Develop and maintain best practices and workflows between sales, production, coordination, and logistics to optimise efficiency and accuracy.
* Collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes, streamline order management, and improve customer service.
* Support the production allocation process, ensuring seamless coordination with processing plants and supply chain stakeholders.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and business development in food service and retail sectors in the UAE and African beef markets.
* Bachelor's degree preferred (in Business, Marketing, or a related field).
* Demonstrated experience in export sales, wholesale distribution, and customer relationship management.
* Knowledge of Australian beef industry standards and specifications.
