Job Opportunity
This role involves delivering clinical care to patients with primary focus on Respiratory Medicine and also being actively engaged in research, education and patient care. The key objective is to ensure continuity of general respiratory and sleep medicine care.
* The appointee must be a legally qualified medical practitioner, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians is required.
* Relevant knowledge and experience in Respiratory & Sleep Medicine are necessary.
* Pulmonary hypertension fellowship or more than 12 months experience in a pulmonary hypertension clinic is highly desirable.
* Candidates must meet Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Respiratory Medicine.
* Experience in teaching and an involvement in research are highly desirable.
