Job Title: Sales & Logistics Support Administrator
Job Description
* Coordinate Equipment Movements: Schedule and manage the delivery and pickup of machinery and equipment between branches, suppliers, and customer locations.
* Liaise with Transport Providers: Work closely with freight companies, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective transport.
* Maintain Accurate Records: Keep up-to-date records of equipment movements and status updates using Trello and our CRM system.
* Order Management: Place, track, and follow up on whole goods orders with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
* Used Equipment: Maintain detailed records of used equipment during pre-sale preparations and repairs.
* Event & Display Coordination: Organise and prepare equipment for field days, shows, and promotional events, including logistics, cleaning, and presentation setup.
* Presentation of Equipment: Prepare equipment for transport or customer viewing, ensuring units are clean, correctly presented, and ready for inspection or delivery.
* Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
* Sales Support: Assist with the preparation of quotes and sales documentation, and provide general administrative support to the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
* Equipment Movement Planning: Develop and implement efficient equipment movement plans that meet customer needs and reduce costs.
* Transport Provider Liaison: Establish and maintain strong relationships with transport providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective services.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment movements, orders, and customer interactions.
* Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, including tracking and following up on shipments.
* Pre-Sale Preparation: Coordinate pre-sale preparations, including cleaning, repair, and presentation of equipment.
* Event Coordination: Plan and execute the coordination of equipment for events, including logistics, setup, and presentation.
Requirements
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers, transport providers, and internal teams.
* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
* Problem Solving Skills: Ability to analyse problems, identify solutions, and implement effective resolutions.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in using CRM systems, Trello, and other software applications relevant to the role.
