About You
You'll bring a keen eye for detail, a strong technical understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and a customer-first mindset. You take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality estimates for the service department.
Essential skills and experience
* Solid knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, components, and service practices.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Previous experience in estimating, quoting, or service coordination within the refrigeration and air conditioning or related mechanical services industry.
* Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a related mechanical discipline.
* Exposure to commercial and/or industrial service environments.
About The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and quotations for maintenance, repairs, and upgrade works within the service department.
Key responsibilities
* Reviewing service reports, client requests, and site information to develop precise and reliable estimates.
* Preparing detailed quotations for both reactive and preventive maintenance works.
* Liaising with technicians, suppliers, and clients to ensure pricing accuracy and clarity of project scope.
* Collaborating with the service team to support smooth workflow from quotation through to job completion.
* Staying up to date with industry pricing, materials, and trends to ensure cost-effective procurement.
