Following a strong period of growth, we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our Operational Executive Team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this hands‑on leadership role will take responsibility for the full finance function across the group, and help to drive further growth and success into the future.
About the Role
As Financial Controller, you will oversee all financial operations, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities, while providing commercial insight to support business performance and growth. You will lead a small finance team (2 direct reports) and work closely with operational leaders across the group.
This role suits a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being close to the detail while contributing at an executive level.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end management of the group finance function across multiple entities.
Monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
Financial analysis and commercial support for operational and strategic decisions.
Statutory reporting, audit coordination, tax, and compliance obligations.
Working capital management and cost control.
Financial systems, process improvement, and internal controls.
Partnering with operational leaders across all entities.
Leadership and development of two direct reports.
About You
Minimum 5 years' experience in Financial Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar roles.
Strong hands‑on experience across financial reporting and analysis.
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments highly regarded.
CIMA, or CPA qualifications preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior leadership.
Practical, commercially focused, and comfortable in a multi‑entity environment.
