You'll be part of a team responsible for assessing development applications and providing planning advice that supports well‐designed, sustainable and community‐focused outcomes. Depending on your level of experience, you may:
Responsibilities
* Review and assess a range of development applications.
* Provide clear, practical planning advice to internal and external stakeholders.
* Undertake site inspections, research and analysis to support quality recommendations.
* Contribute to negotiations relating to infrastructure charging, agreements and conditions.
* Help resolve land‐use matters and ensure outcomes meet legislative and policy requirements.
* Support continuous improvement and contribute to a positive, high‐performance team culture.
Qualifications
* Curious, community‐minded and passionate about quality development outcomes.
* Great communicators who can build positive relationships across teams and stakeholders.
* Able to interpret legislative and planning frameworks
* Problem‐solvers who enjoy balancing technical analysis with practical decision‐making.
* Interested in development assessment, urban design, placemaking or related planning disciplines.
* Degree in Town Planning or equivalent
* A current C‐Class Driver's Licence and White Card (or willingness to obtain).
