Key Responsibilities:
The Resident Engagement Officer plays a crucial role in strengthening individuals and communities by developing sustainable and affordable housing. The officer is responsible for welcoming residents, their visitors, and people delivering programs and services, ensuring that unwelcome visitors cannot access the environment.
This involves forming excellent rapport and maintaining relationships with both residents and those supporting them. The officer will also monitor tenant wellbeing through informal engagement and communicate issues to support and/or tenancy staff as they arise.
* Engage with tenants in an informal capacity, working from a strength-based, client-focused framework.
* Monitor tenant wellbeing through informal engagement and communicate issues to support and/or tenancy staff as they arise.
* Referrals to external services facilitated as required.
* Assist community partners in facilitating events, programs, and other initiatives from the communal spaces, including managing room bookings and access to building amenities.
* Provide phone concierge services; CCTV monitoring and responding to incidents as and when they arise.
