About the role:
The role of the Director of Clinical Training IMG is to ensure a high-quality, sustainable training program for IMGs employed at GV Health, which meets the Australian Medical Council's National Standards for prevocational training.
The successful candidate will have:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Medical Practitioner
- Commit to and confidence in improving the quality of education and training the hospital offers
- Have access to professional development in medical education and training
- Have a genuine interest or relevant experience in postgraduate medical education, a willingness to develop expertise in this area, and a demonstrated understanding of the importance of the continuum of medical education as a lifelong professional commitment
- A postgraduate qualification in Medical Education is highly desirable
